Sugiono, the newly appointed Secretary-General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) for the 2025–2030 term, expressed his gratitude to his predecessor, Ahmad Muzani, who served in the position for 17 years. He acknowledged Muzani’s significant contributions to the party and his role in leading Prabowo Subianto to the presidency. Sugiono also thanked Prof. Dr. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Gerindra’s Executive Chairman, for his efforts in developing the party. He emphasized the importance of unity among party cadres to support the government’s programs led by President Prabowo Subianto. The newly announced Gerindra Central Executive Board (DPP) for the 2025–2030 period includes Prabowo Subianto as Chairman, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad as Executive Chairman, Sugiono as Secretary-General, and Satrio Dimas Adityo as Treasurer-General.
