Speaking to Israeli leaders, Afif stated:

“Iron for iron, blood for blood, and fire for fire.”

This statement from Afif Hezbollah signifies Hezbollah’s intention to respond to Israel’s actions with equal force.

Increased Anti-Israel Operations

He also mentioned that the number of daily operations carried out by Hezbollah continues to increase, now averaging around 25 per day.

Afif vowed that Hezbollah’s bombings in northern and central Israel will continue, with the frequency and intensity of the attacks increasing over time.

The Hezbollah official also denied Israel’s claims of the existence of weapon depots in the southern outskirts of Beirut, and called the attacks on the Al-Qard Al-Hassan institution unjustifiable.

He argued that these attacks aimed to erode the trust between Hezbollah and the Lebanese people, still citing the Palestine Chronicle.

Afif emphasized that Hezbollah does not rely on Al-Qard Al-Hassan for salaries or military funding, and ensured that the institution is fully prepared to fulfill its obligations to the depositors despite the attacks.

He also demanded Israel take responsibility for the safety of Resistance fighters detained by Israeli occupation forces, and urged the Red Cross to ensure their protection.

“Regarding prisoners captured by the enemy, I know the enemy does not follow the ethics of war or international conventions, but they are responsible for saving the lives of prisoners,” said Afif.

“Any information obtained from prisoners through coercion by the enemy Israel is worthless,” he added.

Hezbollah also stated that they will soon capture Israeli soldiers.

“It won’t be long before the Resistance in Lebanon captures enemy soldiers (Israel), and we will negotiate for their release (Lebanese prisoners.”
