Bengkulu – Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto attended the event ‘Consolidation of Prabowo-Gibran Volunteers in Bengkulu Province’ held at Balai Buntar, Bengkulu, Thursday (11/1).
In front of thousands of masses crowding the consolidation location, Prabowo emphasized his commitment to fight for and defend the Indonesian people.
“Even though I am mocked, slandered, and vilified, but brothers, the people have hearts. I just want to fight for the Indonesian people,” Prabowo said firmly.
At the same time, Prabowo also expressed his optimism to eliminate poverty and create prosperity for the Indonesian people.
“I am truly convinced that we can eliminate poverty. Our country is rich, we have to preserve and prove that once Prabowo-Gibran and the Indonesian Forward Coalition receive a mandate, we will uphold the truth, justice, and prosperity,” he said.
One of the programs prepared by Prabowo-Gibran and the Indonesian Forward Coalition to realize this goal is the free lunch and milk program for Indonesian children in schools.
“In addition to continuing programs that benefit the common people, we will start by providing nutritious lunch and milk to all Indonesian children,” continued Prabowo.
Not only that, Prabowo is committed to continuing the downstream program that has been implemented by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). With downstream, Indonesia’s wealth will be managed domestically, providing added value that is beneficial to the Indonesian people.
“I will continue Pak Jokowi’s struggle. I was Pak Jokowi’s rival 2 times. I competed against him 2 times and lost. But, even though we compete, we don’t hate each other. Because we both love the nation and the Indonesian people,” he said firmly. (SENOPATI)
