Silverstone Run Fest 2022: A Unique Opportunity to Experience the Legendary Circuit
For most people, witnessing the Silverstone Circuit action from the grandstands is the closest they can get to the heart of motorsport. However, this year, an exciting opportunity awaits for running enthusiasts to experience the historic circuit up close.
Run Fest Silverstone is set to return on 22 November, offering participants the chance to run through iconic sections like Copse Corner, Vale, and the legendary Hangar Straight. While you won’t be racing at 180 mph, the thrill of running on the same track as world championships is unparalleled.
Four Distances to Choose From
The event features four distance options: a half marathon, a 10k, a 5k, and a family mile for beginners. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting, there’s a race for everyone.
Pricing varies based on the distance selected and UK Athletics affiliation. The half marathon costs £52, the 10k is priced at £46, the 5k at £38, and the family mile at £18. Affiliated runners enjoy a £2 discount on the entry fee, except for the family mile.
Early registration is recommended as prices will increase after 30 June. The flat circuit at Silverstone offers an excellent opportunity for runners to achieve their personal best and enjoy a unique racing experience.

As you race through the track, you’ll get to experience the same stunning views as professional drivers, including iconic corners like Maggotts, Becketts, and Chapel. Despite the cooler late autumn weather, the track promises a comfortable and memorable running experience.
Every participant receives a timing chip, a race number, a finisher’s medal, baggage drop service, and access to water stations along the route. The family mile, open to runners aged four and above, excludes the timing chip but includes all other amenities.
