Cleetus McFarland, also known as Garrett Mitchell, is gearing up to make his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts (NOAPS) debut at the challenging Rockingham oval. Driving the #33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, a team with a rich history and the defending NOAPS driver champions, McFarland is set to participate in a three-race deal in 2026 and 2027, with Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway on the itinerary. Tommy’s Express will sponsor the effort, and McFarland will join teammates Jesse Love and Austin Hill in the championship standings. The NASCAR North Carolina Education Lottery 250 is scheduled for April 4th, during Easter Weekend. After gaining fame as a popular YouTuber with nearly five million subscribers, McFarland is pursuing a new career as a stock car racer, having made appearances in ARCA and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events. The upcoming race at Rockingham holds significant anticipation for McFarland’s growing fanbase as he continues on his journey as a professional racer.
