Farah Eldiba, a young woman from Purwakarta, West Java, fulfilled her dream of becoming a police officer after four years of hard work at the Indonesian Police Academy. She was among the newly commissioned officers inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday. Overwhelmed with pride and emotion, Farah expressed her deep gratitude for the support she received throughout her training, especially from her mentors and the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
During the ceremony on the lawn of the Merdeka Palace, Farah thanked the President, her instructors, and the entire Indonesian National Police institution. However, the most heartfelt moment came when she acknowledged the profound role her mother played in helping her achieve this milestone. With a trembling voice, Farah expressed her gratitude to her mother for her prayers, support, and encouragement.
As Farah officially became a member of the National Police, her mother was seen wiping away tears of pride, joy, and disbelief. She expressed her hope for Farah to become a dignified, strong, and responsible officer, thanking the President for commissioning her daughter. Through tears, Farah’s mother expressed her gratitude to her daughter for never giving up on her dream.
