President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that 352 TNI soldiers are set to participate in the military parade marking the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. This announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta. Indonesia feels honored and excited by the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to play a significant role in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is scheduled to hold meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, such as signing an MoU on collaboration in health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs keen on investing in Indonesia are also part of his agenda during this visit.
